Christopher R. Reed
Christopher R. Reed was born in Rexburg, Idaho, and raised in the nearby town of Ririe. Mr. Reed received his undergraduate degree from Brigham Young University-Idaho, where he graduated cum laude in English in 2004.
Mr. Reed received his Juris Doctor from the Brigham Young University Law School in 2008, graduating cum laude. During law school, he served as a Lead Note and Comment Editor for the school’s law review. Mr. Reed also clerked for a local litigation firm and conducted research for Professors W. Cole Durham, Jr., Brett G. Scharffs, and Cheryl B. Preston.
Mr. Reed joined Allen, Shepherd, Lewis, Syra & Chapman, P.A. after his admission to the New Mexico State Bar in 2008. He is admitted to practice in all New Mexico State Courts and the United States District Court for the District of New Mexico. Since joining the firm, Mr. Reed has practiced general insurance defense and worker’s compensation.
