Aaron is a native New Mexican born in Albuquerque. He graduated with a B.A. in English and Psychology, cum laude, from the University of New Mexico in December of 1999. He then received his Juris Doctorate from the UNM school of Law in May of 2004. While in law school, he represented the student body as president of the Graduate and Professional Student Association. He also gained trial experience as a student District Attorney while in law school

Mr. Kugler joined Allen, Shepherd, Lewis, Syra and Chapman, P.A. in November 2003 and was admitted to the New Mexico Bar in September of 2004. He is also admitted to the Federal District Court for the District of New Mexico and the 10th Circuit U.S. Court of Appeals. Mr. Kugler is a member of the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association, the Defense Research Institute and the American Bar Association.

Mr. Kugler has tried cases in New Mexico State District Court, the New Mexico Workers’ Compensation Administration, and to an arbitrator.

Mr. Kugler practices in the areas of insurance defense, commercial litigation, wrongful death litigation, real estate malpractice, and workers’ compensation.
