Darin A. Childers was born in Curitiba, Brazil, but grew up in Gaithersburg, Maryland. He graduated from Brigham Young University in 2005 with a Bachelor Degree in History.

Mr. Childers received his Juris Doctor from the J. Reuban Clark Law School in 2008, graduating cum laude. Mr. Childers was an active member of the school’s moot court team and won awards for each of the three appellate briefs he wrote. During law school, Mr. Childers worked as a clerk in the Criminal Justice Division of the Utah Attorney General’s Office.

Mr. Childers began his employment with Hatch, Allen & Shepherd P.A. in May 2008. He was admitted to the New Mexico State Bar on September 26, 2008.

His primary areas of practice are workers compensation and insurance defense litigation.
