Ms. Baker received a Bachelor of Science degree in Agricultural Communications from Oklahoma State University in 2002, where she graduated summa cum laude and was selected as a Top Ten Senior of her college. Ms. Baker graduated from the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2005. During law school, Ms. Baker was the Managing Editor of the Oklahoma Journal of Law and Technology and was listed on the Dean's List.

After graduating law school, Ms. Baker was an associate attorney with one of the largest law firms in Indiana, where she practiced commercial real estate law and agricultural law. While practicing in Indiana, Ms. Baker was elected Secretary/Treasurer of the Agricultural Law Section of the Indiana State Bar Association.

Ms. Baker was admitted to the State Bar of New Mexico and joined Allen, Shepherd, Lewis, Syra & Chapman, P.A. in 2009. She is also admitted to the State Bar of Oklahoma and the State Bar of Indiana.

Since joining the firm, Ms. Baker has practiced general insurance defense, including construction defects, personal injury, and professional medical liability.
